BEING something of an institution in Cordoba, one might expect this converted bodega to rest on its laurels. Not in the slightest. Few places in Andalucia have such an amazing ambience and history, while still managing to come up trumps in the kitchen.

Taking up a whole block in central Cordoba make sure to have a look around this former convent and later bodega, that has countless nooks and crannies, including a wonderful open patio and one of the finest collections of bullfighting posters in Spain. In the same family as the celebrated Pimpi bar in Malaga, it has a lot of similarities.
