Beach House Restaurant

THIS must be easily one of the Costa del Sol's best beach restaurants. Sitting on one of its loveliest stretches of sand, a hidden spot in Elviria, it is scenic and largely unspoilt with wonderful views up towards Marbella and Gibraltar in the far distance.

But you are here for the food and, in particular, its fabulously fresh fish and adventurous menu, constantly changed by owner Guy, a talented livewire, in his twenties, whose wife and three-year-old son are normally floating around nearby.

You can literally eat on the sand, but it is just as nice inside thanks to its stylish decor and ambience. Staff are attentive and knowledgeable and the wine list is also excellent. This is a place for romance or to impress a business contact, but whatever you do make sure to take a visit.
