El Claustro

WHILE I am never a fan of eating in hotels, this is one major exception. In the heart of old town Granada, in one of the city's most important old buildings, El Claustro - or the Cloister - is formal, fine dining at its best.

Elegance in the extreme, the restaurant sits in the cloisters off the main square of this ancient 16th century convent that has now been converted into the jewel in the crown of the AC hotel empire.
