Mesón La Molienda

RESTORED olive mills might be ten to the pound in Andalucia, but few match up to the charms of La Molienda. Sitting in the heart of one of the Serrania de Ronda's prettiest white villages, the ancient Arabic settlement of Benalauria, this is a must visit for food and architecture lovers alike.

Well preserved with its 18th century stone walls, floorboards and much of the original milling apparatus still intact, the views go almost all the way to the Sierra Nevada. There is a charming sun trap terrace for Spring and Autumn and expect a roaring fire for winter.
